This is my entry for the second challenge in the BOIT contest - the books challenge. Task: We were asked to make a video based on a book. We could either show the whole story, or choose to focus on a particular event. I decided to vid Deathly Hallows, but its a very full on plot, so I chose to focus on just one aspect of the book - the horcruxes, and in particular the silver doe scene. READ FIRST!!! With the Horcruxes destroyed, Voldemort defeated, everything seems to be getting back to normal. But it's not the end. Harry discovers that he's the last Horcrux and that a part of Voldemort's soul has survived in his body. Harry tries to fight him, but he's too weak and Voldemort slowly takes over the control of his body and turns his life into a nightmare. Ginny [is the only one who] starts to realize that something's wrong. One morning Harry wakes up and sees his girlfriend lying next to him dead. Then, he remembers it was him who killed her. He becomes extremely depressed. He knows that as long as he stays at Hogwarts, his friends aren't safe, so [one night] he runs and hides in the Forbidden Forest. He tries to commit suicide casting Avada Kedavra at himself, but the curse only kills Harry's body and sets Voldemort free. Voldemort has now the complete control of Harry's body. Locked in his own head, Harry can only watch Voldemort as he comes back to Hogwarts to destroy all Harry loves. READ THIS FIRST!!! This was my view of what could have happened in Harry Potter book 7. As you can se, the video was made long before Deathly Hallows came out. It turned out I was right about some things and wrong about others: I've decided to keep this video on Youtube anyway, like an ALTERNATIVE ENDING for the Harry Potter books if you like. By the way: In this ending Snape doesn't die! Read he plot before watching, if you want to understand! Unless you want Harry to remain dead, you should also watch the scene after the texts at the end! THE PLOT OF THE VIDEO: Harry turns 17 and leaves the Dursleys. He wants to destroy all horcruxes and kill Snape, whom he holds responsible for Dumbledore's death. Harry finds Snape and attacks him, but Snape disarms him easily. Snape then confronts him with the truth about Dumbledore's death. When Harry finally accepts the truth, he breaks down and cries. Harry and Snape forgive each other and make a plan to destroy the remaining horcruxes and kill Voldemort together. In the end there's only Voldemort himself left and the last horcrux, the snake Nagini. Snape dresses up as a deatheater and pretends to bring Harry as a gift to Voldemort. Voldemort starts to torture Harry, turns his back to Snape (whome he trusts), and lets down his magical shield. Snape kills Voldemort and Harry eliminates the last horcrux, the snake. Oh phooey! I was so careful to get rid of all those little snippets of other clips on this one, and I still missed some. Oh well, It's not my best anyway. The most impressive thing about it is that I get to show off my new intro. Plot: Dumbledoor discovers that one of Voldemort's horcruxes is in Narnia. He asks Aslan to find someone to escort Harry Ron and Hermione to the place where it's hidden. Aslan calls the Pevensies back to Narnia, and assigns them as an escort and guide to the witch and wizards. They lead the golden trio through Narnia and protect them from various dangers. When they reach the river, Peter rushes to get across before the ice melts, but before he can reach it, Hermione magics an ice bridge for them. Peter compliments her, and she sarcastically thanks him. This annoys him a bit, which he confides to Susan. Later they are stopped by a small wolf pack, and Maurgrim pin's Hermione down (I know it's not really her, but there was no good way to do that part). Peter rushes to save her, and kills Maurgrim. When he's done, and after Hermione is over her shock, she runs up and hugs him. Gradually they are falling for each other. Meanwhile, Peter reflects on how he feels that he has changed since meeting Hermione. He feels that he is twice the man he used to be, and thinks back to the days when he didn't even know anything about Narnia. READ FIRST!!!!!!!!! This is an alternative ending to Deathly Hallows :) I've really worked a lot on this video so I hope you like it :) Storyline: The story takes place right after Harry has learned that he is a horcrux. He is about to leave the castle(I know it's in the Ministry but its supposed to be Hogwarts) when Hermione, Ron, Ginny, Neville and Luna come running to stop him. But before he is able to say anything to them, Voldemort suddenly enters and sees Harry. The others are captured by the Death Eaters and Harry tries to fight Voldemort but realizes that he must die in order to finally destroy Voldemort. The Death Eaters flee at Harry's death and Ginny, possessed with grief, kills Voldemort. The rest of the survivors from the battle runs to the scene and see Harry dead. in the end, they all realize why Harry died and that they must live on without him but always keep him in their memory.
